CALIFORNIA'S THE HERBAL CHEF COMES TO VANCOUVER
By The Planter's Guide curators
By the time you’re reading this, it may already be too late to get tickets to one of the most anticipated and innovative dining experiences this Spring….
Christopher Sayegh, aka The Herbal Chef, is coming to Vancouver for a special two-night, limited-seat engagement on April 6 and 7, 2018, starting at 7pm. Over the course of each elevated evening, he will share specially-prepared, immaculately-plated, cannabis-infused dishes with his guests.
Only 60 tickets are available for each night, with the exact location remaining under wraps until the day of each event, ensuring mystery and excitement leading up to the starting line.
His unique multicourse tasting menu will feature locally-foraged and farmed ingredients, each of which is enhanced by a precise amount of THC and CBD extracts, measured specifically as not to overwhelm the guests. Each course will be paired with wine selections from Okanagan Falls’ award-winning Liquidity Wines. Specially-curated live music will serve as a lively backdrop for this one-of-a-kind experience.
Chef Sayegh is well-regarded in the culinary community as an innovative cook, and as an engaging, intelligent and entertaining host. Trained in Michelin-starred restaurants, his mission is to educate and enlighten – sharing the healthful benefits of cooking with cannabis products (which may include a focused palate and increased appetite), while showing ultimate respect for local flavours and ingredients. His events have been featured in such thought-leading outlets such as Forbes, Vice, The Guardian, and now, The Planter’s Guide.
His first restaurant, Herb, will open in Los Angeles later this year.
The Herbal Chef Vancouver evenings are sponsored by The Quarry, Aura Cannabis, TopLeaf, Farm & Florist, South Coast, Alair Vaporizers, and Liquidity Wines.
